Thematic Areas

The JOSA Hope Care and Share Centre work on the following thematic areas

1. Provide humanitarian assistance:

The CBO aims to achieve this by building a home to provide a safe space, loving care, proper nutrition and good quality education to deserving vulnerable children.

The center also seeks to provide post-rescue medical care and psychosocial support to survivors of gender-based violence (GBV).

Victims of GBV reach us through social media, our phone contacts, and a network of Good Samaritans in hospitals, police stations, and walk-ins at our Bogichora ward and Kiabonyoru ward offices.

2. Build resilience for sustainable development:

The JOSA Hope Care and Share Centre are guided by the principle that Sustainable development is the pathway to the future we want for all.

We believe that equipping vulnerable children with good quality education gives them a strong foundation that not only sets them up for success in their future but also enables entire families and communities to escape cycles of poverty. We thereby endeavor to reduce barriers to education access by the provision of scholarships to the vulnerable, establishing a community-based library, and equipping it with computers and relevant reading.

We thereby strive to offer frameworks to generate economic growth through offering training in areas such as; Knitting, Poultry keeping, dairy farming and IT workshops for the youth focusing on areas such as graphics design.

Clean, accessible water is critical to human health and sustainable development, by building a community well, we hope to increase access to safe water for all.
